In an Instagram post after the event, Vonn thanked the Beaver Creek course and also expressed her feelings about competing in that location. She also made special mention to her fans, friends, and family members who came to watch her perform her non-competitive duties at the event. She wrote:

"THANK YOU Beaver Creek!!!! What an incredible feeling to cross the finish line in front of such an amazing crowd! Friends, family, volunteers and so many people I’ve known over the years who came to support and cheer for me and the whole @usskiteam… thank you."

Lindsey Vonn has some good memories of her skiing career at the Beaver Creek, Colorado. She also won a super-g bronze medal during the 2015 Alpine Ski Championships.
